  • Job Overview & Responsibilities

    Emergent is seeking a dynamic and personable entry level sales professional to generate new business leads in a fast-paced business environment.  This internal call team receives extensive sales training and will gain valuable experience in technology licensing sales.  In this role, you will build new relationships and expand business with existing customers within an assigned territory or industry, focusing on the public sector. This position is a great opportunity to work in a high-growth environment with partner sales and services organizations, as well as IT and business executives, to develop and carry out strategic sales plans.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Research the market for new sales leads
    • Staffing Technology events
    • Drive new sales opportunities to salesforce
    • Maintain existing customer base
    • Assist in sales and marketing projects
    • Promote Emergent’s value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, English, IT, Marketing and/or equivalent work experience
    • Ability to work well within a team
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Attentive to detail and organized
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
    • Self-starter who takes pride in their work
    • Experience in government or public sector sales is a plus
