The Sales Order Administrator role is responsible for handling order processing tasks and assignments in support of sales order management for our business. Working with our sales team, you will be responsible for issuing purchase orders, and handling other documentation associated with new contract awards. This role supports a high volume of order processing and when not engaged in those priority tasks, you will be assigned other general administrative work, reporting, and project work pertaining to order administration. This position works under general supervision and tasks are semi-routine in nature.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issue purchase orders to vendors in accordance with vendor ordering documents within short turnaround time, in support of the sales process.
- Verify documentation for new contract awards and setting up projects for tracking.
- Prepare documentation needed to process the life of a contract.
- Provide input regarding procedure and process improvements in order to provide greater efficiency.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Attend team meetings and other meetings as required.

REMOTE OPPORTUNITY!! The SLED Account Manager is responsible for generating and closing sales of Red Hat technologies and services (consulting and training) within an assigned SLED territory and identifying and developing new business opportunities for account growth. This role creates and manages the customer and territory strategies to lead to successful sales results. The Account Manager develops, owns, and maintains positive relationships with key decision makers at various IT management levels within the buying eco-system and with our Red Hat partners. This role also prepares and leads sales presentations to showcase our technical solutions and product offerings, working with our internal technical solutions resources in this process. The Account Manager works closely with our internal account team members, to include Renewal Specialists, SDRs and Technical Sales staff, as well as our sales leadership to manage and execute on the territory sales plan. The Account Manager collaborates with the marketing team for lead generation and other marketing-related activities. This role works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative and interfaces with various teams and management across the organization to complete tasks. Works independently and develops solutions with a high degree of complexity and scope.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define, develop and execute territory sales plan, working closely with Red Hat counterparts, targeting SLED customers in Texas for Red Hat products and services.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with clients, partners, vendors and/or manufacturers at all levels of the organization, including executives to advance the sales cycle and support the client post-sale.
- Perform prospecting activities to gain new business and advance the sales cycle, such as identifying and understanding customers’ business issues and technical infrastructure, researching and generating detailed account profiles.
- Identify, develop, and close net new sales opportunities within existing RH SLED accounts in the assigned territory (Texas).
- Work closely with account solutions architects to identify key projects, programs, and offices to sell Red Hat's comprehensive enterprise solutions (subscriptions, training, and consulting).
- Manage the account planning process, forecasting and other sales metrics for assigned accounts.
- Develop new strategies for Red Hat offerings within key accounts to establish proofs of concepts and pilot implementations.
- Act as the trusted adviser for senior IT and business executives of key SLED accounts to create long-term partnerships with customers in the accounts.
- Follow and demonstrate the Emergent Sales Methodology to manage the end-to-end sales process, including collaboration with Red Hat channel sales to deliver proposals.
- Work with marketing staff to support various Red Hat sales presentations and lead generation activities.
- Work with and provide guidance to more junior sales staff in sales activities that support and generate territory sales renewals and growth.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales quotas and targets.
Emergent is seeking a Sales Engineer - Red Hat to help our sales team support both civilian and DoD customers. This is a technical pre-sales role responsible for aligning technology solutions to business objectives. This role focuses on excellence in collaborating with the sales team and clients to architect Red Hat solutions, deliver compelling product demos and technical value propositions, design proofs-of-concept (POCs), and deliver enablement workshops with our clients around solutions such as RHEL, Satellite, Smart Management, Ansible, and OpenShift. This role works closely with Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, consulting teammates, Red Hat sales teams, and public sector clients. Responsibilities and Essential Duties
· Actively support sales and customers with technical product support across RHEL, Satellite, Smart Management, Ansible, OpenShift, and other open-source technologies.
· Provide technical expertise and support for proofs-of-concept, workshops, technology events, and other technology enablement and adoption activities.
· Design open-source solutions for our clients, including documenting requirements and specifications and developing strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
· Communicate proactively and independently with external and internal stakeholders.
· Assist in driving the technical roadmap of the RHT practice and providing technical expertise in support of the sales and consulting teams.
· Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define practices for platform deployment, project lifecycle, platform hardening, resiliency, security, operations, and maintenance.
· Maintain and enhance automation in support of setup and provisioning of new projects for Ansible and OpenShift.
· Support continuous learning for the sales team to further develop the Emergent Red Hat knowledge and skillset.
· Collaborate with solutions specialists and consulting lead to determine best-fit resources for projects.
· Communicate regularly with the sales and consulting team members to provide support as needed.
· Lead technical presentations and attend key industry events in support of the public sector sales teams.
· Work with stakeholders to improve processes, team culture, and operating efficiency across the organization.
