  • Job Overview & Responsibilities

    This is an Entry-level technical sales role with a focus on our Adobe Connect product line, responsible for providing technical training and generating sales in support of the Adobe Connect Team’s go-to market strategy. This position will learn and become expert in the technical application of Adobe Connect and stay abreast of continuing product developments. This role will learn and develop training and instruction skills to be able to present product training to customers, maintain and update training materials/programs, and provide training to departments/employees to enable the use of Adobe Connect internally.  

     

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

     

    • Learn and understand the technical application of Adobe Connect, especially as it relates to key customer use cases.
    • Provide Connect demonstrations and basic training for customers in support of sales activities, approximately 25% - 35% of work week.
    • Provide first line technical support for sales representatives, to include standard troubleshooting and managing escalation for Adobe Connect. 
    • Provide helpdesk support tickets. Meet service SLAs associated with specific accounts for customers.
    • Maintain technical resources for use by the sales team. Store resources using a logical system allowing for immediate access by sales representatives. Communicate resource updates to sales team. 
    • Develop an understanding of market competition, technical differentiators and how to overcome technical objections. 
    • Learn and develop instructional design/methods for individual training, group instruction, workshops, and meetings, and stay abreast of development research and training techniques, methods, and materials. 
    • Ensure training materials are updated with current policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies.  
    • Deliver programs to train all levels of employees.  
    • Obtain and maintain all Adobe Connect sales and basic technical certifications. 
    • Coordinate training and technical resources with Adobe CAM/PAM, and partners when required. 
    • Develop moderate knowledge over time of technical integration points with Adobe Connect, Partner Products and other Adobe products (eg. eLearning Suite) 
    • Facilitate virtual and in-person Adobe Connect events. 
    • Assist with providing technical input for customer communications. 
    • Keep catalog up to date. 
    • Create surveys. 

     

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience

    1. High school diploma or equivalent experience; some college desired.
    2. Prior sales or technical experience helpful.
