Job Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Sales Representative to  lead our efforts in pursuing opportunities within the public sector team as we continue to grow our SLED Oracle OCI market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies and a proven track record of successfully driving business growth within the public sector space. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of both public sector processes and cloud computing solutions with OCI Lift and Shift capabilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct OCI marketing/educational events in the territory to market Mythics capabilities in OCI.
  • Develop/refine a Mythics Cloud capabilities presentation for the West Territory, outlining our skills and capabilities in this area.
  • Run analytics in Mythics internal CRM (NetSuite) for potential OCI lift and shift prospects and conduct proactive sales campaigns into these accounts. Targets should include:
    • OBIEE
    • Engineered Systems
    • Oracle Applications
    • Oracle Middleware
  • Meet weekly with Mythics product teams to understand potential services attachment on any new OCI product pipeline.
  • Run OCI sales cycles from lead generation to closure, coordinating all deal dynamics (both internal and external).
  • Monitor procurement channels for multi-cloud contracts or Oracle Cloud opportunities.
  • Develop bid/no-bid recommendations for cloud opportunities in SLED.
  • Lead cloud contract capture cycles (both prime and sub)
  • Routinely meet with consultants and project managers on all existing public sector clients to prospect for potential OCI upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field and/or relevant work experience.
  • 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 5 years in business development or sales roles, focused on cloud technologies.
  • 2+ years selling to public sector clients with a strong understanding of the processes.
  • Knowledge of the SLED marketplace, with an emphasis on one or more specific agencies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Experience in developing and negotiating contracts and agreements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OCI Certified Specialist, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • The minimum and maximum full-time Total Comp including base plus bonus for the state of California is $150,000 - $250,000This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
