Job Overview & Responsibilities

Mythics and Emergent are award-winning IT solutions companies providing services in many areas, including Oracle, Adobe, and Red Hat. We are excited and proud to host our Compass Cadet Internship Program for our tenth summer! The Compass Cadet Internship Program provides undergraduate students the opportunity to learn about the business world, our industry, and specifically our company while participating in meaningful, productive work that advances our business. Internship candidates will have the opportunity to develop their skills in business by actively completing real-life projects, participating in developmental and skill-based trainings, and engaging in coaching and mentorship opportunities. Throughout the program, interns will work together to create a final presentation based on their internship experience. This year we are accepting summer internship applications for opportunities in our corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. Some of the areas of interest will include technology sales and sales support and shared services experiences such as accounting and corporate IT.

 

This year's internship begins June 9th and will end August 1st for all students.  To be eligible for our program, interns must be actively enrolled in school at undergraduate level. We are looking for rising juniors and seniors as applicants. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be available to our business hours (8:30am - 5:30pm ET) during the program dates from June 9th –  August 1st.
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.

Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency using MS Office Suite skills, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
