Job Overview & Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager, Emergent Brand leads the development and execution of integrated marketing programs that drive demand generation, support revenue goals, and elevate the Emergent brand. Emergent is a value-added reseller and solutions provider for multiple Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), including Red Hat, Adobe, and others.

This role is highly focused on creating measurable marketing campaigns that generate and nurture qualified leads, drive pipeline growth, and improve customer engagement across key verticals—including government and enterprise sectors. The Marketing Manager will incorporate strategic marketing expertise and a data-driven mindset in executing this role, while closely collaborating with Sales Leadership to align marketing efforts with OEM priorities, revenue quotas, and go-to-market strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Campaign Execution

  • Develop integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, events, content, and partner channels to drive lead generation, pipeline acceleration, and customer engagement.
  • Identify and target key customer segments and personas in collaboration with Sales and Partner stakeholders.
  • Manage campaign calendar and marketing request intake to ensure alignment with business priorities and sales targets.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and sales teams to support the development of technical events, webinars, workshops, and supporting campaign assets.
  • Own the marketing funnel—track lead generation through to conversion, continuously optimizing programs for performance and ROI.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

  • Establish and track KPIs to evaluate marketing effectiveness, including MQL volume, lead-to-opportunity conversion, campaign ROI, and funnel health.
  • Build reports and dashboards to communicate marketing impact across the organization and with key OEM partners.
  • Use data insights to continuously optimize campaign tactics, targeting strategies, and content performance.
  • Implement A/B testing, segmentation, and automation to improve engagement and lead quality.

OEM Partner Collaboration & MDF Management

  • Align marketing plans with OEM partner priorities to support co-branded campaigns, joint initiatives, and funded activities.
  • Develop and submit Marketing Development Fund (MDF) proposals that support strategic objectives and lead generation goals.
  • Execute approved MDF programs and ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEM marketing contacts and communicate performance metrics and campaign results.

Cross-Functional Coordination & Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional coordination with internal teams (creative, content, digital, operations, and sales) to deliver campaigns on time and within budget.
  • Ensure seamless execution of marketing activities, from initial concept to final reporting.
  • Support sales enablement initiatives by coordinating the development of collateral, presentations, landing pages, and other demand-generation assets.
  • Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all touchpoints in accordance with Emergent and OEM guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Other Duties

  • Keep up to date with industry specific trends and market intelligence.
  • Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; Master’s degree a plus.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience in a B2B or technology-focused environment, preferably within the VAR, enterprise software, or public sector markets.
  • Demonstrated work experience in successfully developing and executing lead generation and performance-driven campaigns.
  • Experience working with or within OEM partner ecosystems (Red Hat or Adobe experience strongly preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficient in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; confident making decisions based on performance insights.
  • Proven ability to manage MDF funding and OEM marketing program compliance.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable collaborating across departments and working with external stakeholders and vendors.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
